Mint Condition of East Tennessee -
Led By Ralph Jennings, President

Ralph Jennings started Mint Condition of East Tennessee after a thirty-five year career in the insurance business. Ralph began his career in sales with Wausau Insurance in Chattanooga. His sales and management skills were soon recognized. He then began a series of relocations with ever-increasing areas of responsibility. He managed Wausau’s operations in Alabama, Florida and Tennessee.

Tiring of the frequent relocations of his family and too many years as a "road warrior," Ralph accepted an opportunity to join Corroon and Black which later became Willis of Tennessee as the Production Manager of the Chattanooga office. Under his management, the office twice received the Robert F. Corroon Award, given annually to the most outstanding office in the company. Individually, Ralph was inducted into the Exceptional Producer Council recognizing the top one percent of the salesforce nationwide.

Ralph was then recruited to serve as sales manager of a Chattanooga independent agency specializing in health care, construction, and manufacturing. While there he started a college intern program bringing young people into the industry and serving as a mentor. Subsequently, Ralph was recruited to be Chief Operating Officer of a very large, rapidly growing national agency. Here he wrote a procedures manual and training program that greatly increased efficiencies and production while reducing expenses.

After trying retirement for a few months, Ralph decided he was too young and had too much energy. He then began to look for opportunities which matched his skill set and allowed him to continue his passions of helping people achieve their dreams and delivering unmatched customer service. Mint Condition fit this bill perfectly.

Ralph has been married to his wife, Karen, for 35 years. They have a son, Jeff, who is in commercial real estate in Chattanooga and his wife, Laura, who is a teacher in Walker County Georgia. They also have a canine Security Director, Scrappy, and a grand-dog, Grits.
